Check out this url:

This is not the most up-to-date information on .pkg file creation.
There are minor differences in .pkg files between different models of
Cobalt servers.
Full information is available from
http://developer.cobalt.com/packagefile/index.php .
You'll have to be a member of the free Sun Cobalt Developer network
to get to the
Tech Notes.
Cheers,

you will be provided with a link but you must be registered as a developer
to get access to the technote on this subject.
Good luck!

Onderwerp: [cobalt-developers] Changing a package
Hi all,
anyone have an idea on how to change a file in a pkg? Neomail's
portuguese translation isn't accurate, so we improved it. Now, we'd like
to recreate the package with the new and improved translation file. Are
there any docs available on how to do this? I couldn't find anything
suitable.
Thanks in advance,
Paulo Rodrigues
