Thanks. I almost guessed I would have to do that. Directory after directory died and now the D*** Thing doesn't even respond to ping. As the RaQ is in Holland and I am in Germany it will take a few days.
Did you ever found out why this happened? Guess not, but I'll hope it won't happen again.
