Hello there,

I was wondering if anyone has managed to add Secure Password Auth to the
POP3/IMAP4 service on the Qube 3 (or RAQ 4). This is an authentication
mechanism supported by (for instance) Outlook Express, and which, if I
recall correctly, involves the client sending an MD5 hash instead of a
plaintext password.

Now, are any patches out there for this? (i.e., any previous work in this
field?)
Where exactly is the source code for those daemons in the Qube 3?

(I would also like to know more about the status of PHP 4.0.6 for the Qube
3, but that can wait a bit.)
