Re: [cobalt-developers] The New PHP pkg FILE

Hi,

what I wasn't aware was that Webalizer 1.3 ( that is the one used in
the cobalt package ) uses the old gd library that still supported gifs.
So after installing PHP with GDlib webalizer didn't work anymore and I
had to manually compile the new (2.0) version which supports PNGs.
Furthermore mysql and postgresql connections stopped working.
That should be solved by uncommenting the extenions mysql and pgsql in
the php.ini file.

I have notice a while ago that there were problems when installing the PHP
pkg thus can some one share the solutions for problems that may arises as a
result of installing the PHP with GD Programs.
