Sorry   to say,

1. I made backups of all my sites, .tar .gz.. then had my farm
    (where my raq3 is... wipe the box, do a CD restore then
    I applied all the patches and started over again) I had 58 
     sites at the time. took me 48 hrs. Nonstop.

2.. Sad story, but in the interest of Security it was a must do to
     me.

Maybe, ya have other backups...      If ya need help emial me off list
for a script to help ya backup sites you already have. All you will 
need is browser access and possibly ssh or telnet if possible.
