[cobalt-developers] opendev: attach: Address family not supported by protocol?

i'm trying to get cipe to fly on a cobalt qube 3., which is an x86 based
server appliance with a somewhat customized redhat 6.x on it (for those of
you on the cipe list - i'm submitting this to both that and a cobalt list.)
i didn't have a whole lot of success with 1.5.2 compiled from source, so i
got the redhat 7.1 source rpm (it doesn't seem to exist for 6.x) thinking
that perhaps i'd have more luck with redhat patched source. it compiles and
installs fine, the kernel module loads, but i get the following starting the
deamon with debug turned on:
opendev: attach: Address family not supported by protocol
everything else in the debug output looks fine, i.e. just like what i get
from another redhat box i have it working on (the other box is 7.1, however.)
anybody have any thoughts?
thanks,
al
