This router/firewall i talk about is not exspensive ($120) it has web
interface, and you place it between the DSL modem and the Qube. It has and 1
port to use for the DSL and 1port for analog/ISDN modem.
So if your DSL goes down you switch to the modem and everything works as
normal on the Qube.
Qube <-------- US-robotics Broaband Router/firewall <-------------- DSL
modem + analog/ISDN modem

Actually, I was hoping to use the serial port on the back of the Qube to
connect either an analog modem or ISDN TA, rather than depend on the
DSL. Of course, the dial backup on the DSL modem is always an option,
but we are wondering if the Qube can handle that, so we don't have to
get the higher-end DSL customer equipment.
