RE: [cobalt-developers] Custom Error pages on a RAQ4i

To the extent of my knowledge with Raq 4, it is a limitation that was put
into the Raq 4's when it was introduced. I have posted a way to get around
this issue a while ago - like 1-4 days ago, I guess. Someone claimed that if
all patches are there then it should work, but to be honest since the Raq 4
was initially giving that same error you are getting, I started using the
way I outlined in my previous email so it could be right that after all
patches the problem is fixed but I never tried it again.

Subject: [cobalt-developers] Custom Error pages on a RAQ4i

I am managing a RAQ4i, and there has been a specific request made to
engineer custom 404 error pages.

Having looked through the Knowledge Base, I have found that the solution
lies with .htaccess files. I have found the supposed syntax for the content
of this file and created one in a test directory.

The content of the file is:

ErrorDocument 404 /errors/dra404.htm

and nothing else. When I trigger the situation in this folder that should
result in an error I get a "Server Configuration Error". In fact if I point
a browser at anything in this folder I get a "Server Configuration Error",
even though the file exists. Everything else on the server is working fine.

I am aware that maybe there should be some change made to the access.conf
file that is default on the RAQ4i, but I cannot figure out what it is. At
this time the .htaccess file in my test directory is the only one I have
placed on the server

Help!!
