I C, interesting forward step to tweak the CMU but CMU was meant to do
migration mainly. I never used it but I thought you are truing to back up
using the known shell utilities.
Why don't you first issue a cmd to remove the destination dir and then
initiate the export!! Or if you are worry about files that might be in
destination but not in the new backup then move the destination to a temp
then initiate backup then copy the content of that temp to the content of
the new backup - In this case files which are not there will become
available and thing that were there previously won't be overwritten since
the new backup file are the ones up-to-date.
I am not sure if this help but just some thoughts,
Kal

wrote a shell script to backup each virtual domain
cd /etc/rc.d/init.d
./sendmail stop
cd /usr/sbin
./cmuExport -n www.domain1.com
.cmuExport -n wwwdomain2.com
cd /etc/rc.d/init.d
./sendmail stop
etc.. etc.. etc...
This includes opening an FTP session and backing up the files
The problem is CMU asks for verification if a backup of a virtual domain is
already pesent that I should overwrite the folder.
I want to add this command into the shell script.

Hi
This is probably a stupid question, but I have writen a simple shell script
to automate the backup of files.
How do I add a command to force the acceptance of an over-write when a
virtual directory backup already exists?
