Try using the Cobalt Java Developer Kit (it's on developer.cobalt.com).
Or,
if you just want the JDK, the problem you're having is that threads library
is broken for that version of glibc. You'll need to up grade the glibc RPM.
To do this, I would recommend downloading the Qube 3 Java Dev kit RPM from
the website, untar it (it's just a tar.gz) and then use the glibc RPMS in
the pkg to upgrade glibc.
