the DNS records are stored in a text file call /etc/named/records
put in a couple of domains via the GUI as samples then download the records
file add them manually in notepad.exe
upload back to the server
go into the GUI > DNS panel and you'll see all the domains read in by the
GUI from the new records file, click on save and the GUI will populate the
/etc/named folder with the pri.* files required the restart the named daemon
via the GUI control panel and you all done :)
TIP: when doing this always backup the original file, and ensure you
maintain file ownerships and permissions on the replaced files. Sounds
simple but alot of us forget the basics - but only once !

Subject: [cobalt-developers] DNS scripts
Hi, my friends,
I have hundreds of domains to park on a RaQ4 server. I would like to use PHP
or PERL scripts to do the job, rather than using the web interface which is
slow. Would anyone give me a clue where I can get the scripts? Thank you
very much for your advice.
Regards
Chun
