This has happend to me whenever I use a CNAME for the mail.domain.com
record. If this is the case remove it and create an "A" record.

My idea, VERY simple and works.
From the GUI
Set the DNS straight for each domain, from 1 to 4 to have their respective
emails working.
Set a catch-all account for domains 2 to 4
Set the forward option for these catch-all accounts to send incoming mail
to domain 1
Fast and easy.
Hope this helps.
