The only possibility of SSH and Java interacting is if ssh is trying to
use port 8007 (Tomcat listens on this to handle jsp servlet requests). I
don't know if ssh uses this... I know it does try to talk to some funny
ports for X forwarding. Try turning X forwarding off in the ssh_config file.
The Java threads are normal. Java does not have nonblocking I/O so it
needs all the threads to handle incoming requests.
