    hda5 is is a miniroot partition that we use in our 
    StaQware product (active/passive failover).  On earlier
    systems where hda5 doesn't exist, we do some tacky things
    to create it when StaQware is installed.  It is safer
    and more reliable if hda5 is there from the outset, so
    there it is.
