Hello,
Sorry for my last message making it here twice. I sent it from the wrong
account, and didn't think the lovely moderator
Aw, gee, thanks.
:-)
/G
would post it.
Anyway I have solved the problem - postgres was having a nightmare, it
didn't set itself up properly, and I also hunted down the ipchains tool. One
days hunting and poking around inside an unknown box I have the problem
licked....
So final working situation is a RaQ4i on a Cable Modem, giving my other 2
computers internet access (via ipchains) and allowing me to develop on a
local net, or publish to the world! ;-) Its nice that my IP address is only
dynamic if I turn off the Cable Modem for more than an hour !
Thank you all anyway...
Paul
