AHA! I was just alerted to this issue this week, you are in luck!
The glib shipped with RedHat 7.0, 7.1 is compiled for PENTIUMs. The K6
processor in the Qube3 CAN NOT RUN the standard glibc.
We've taken up a support issue with red Hat, but they don't seem to care.
The solution is to recompile glibc or get a binary rpm that is built for
the least-common-denominator.
