No... but you do have to keep the tires in good condition, change the oil,
change the spark plugs, etc... standard maintenance. Same thing with software
updates, If you miss something on the security updates, sometimes you get
slapped in the face with it. e.g. Your car blows up because you didn't change
the oil in a year and a half.
The other thing to mention here, is if you were running 8.2.2-P7, that is the
version prior to the bind update. Which puts you at 8.2.3 with the update. In
essense, if you had the P7 version, you did not have the update. As far as I
know, even the initial release of the update was 8.2.3. But it definately
wasn't 8.2.2-P7, that's on some of the raq's here that have NO updates on them.
Now, I'm not trying to point fingers here, at Cobalt, or you. I could care less
who's fault it is. I'm just giving you the facts I have. And from this side of
the fence, it looks like either a) you didn't install the patch, or b) the
install of the patch failed.
