I have my windows machines? set up in
(1) control-panel->network
Identification:
Computer Name (same as user on qube3)
Workgroup WORKGROUP
Access Control
Share Level Access Control (selected)
(2) control-panel->network->tcpip-adapter->
DNS Configuration (selected)
Enable DNS
host = user, Domain = loaclnet.com
Gateway
the Qube3 NIC 192.168.1.1
Wins Configuration
Enable WINS Resolution (selected)
Wins Sever Search Order
Qube3 NIC 192.168.1.1
IP Address
Obtain an IP adress automatically
Bindings
Client for Microsoft Networks
File and Print sharing for Microsoft networks
I don't know if it's correct, but it works.
