I've never done it, but I think 99% is done by editing the passwd file and
then going to that user's entry in that file, then you need to replace the
last field in that line "/bin/badsh" with the path to the passwd utility
program. Now, when they log in, the passwd will be executed immediately, and
then they will be asked for regular passwd change procedures, then upon
completion they will be logged out!!

Ok I just tried it on a Raq 4, and it works great. You need to put the path
/usr/bin/passwd in place of /bin/badsh. So you first create a user with
shell access through the web UI and then you perform the above operations.

I would like to give my users shell access for password changes only
how can I do this?

can I modify the /bin/badsh so it contains a passwd ? and if how?
