Hello list,
I am trying to install a Domino server on a Qube3. The install is not
the problem, as everything goes fine. The setup of Domino also runs
smooth.
BUT
The Domino server crashes every 30 minutes with the famous "all threads
frozen". This does not happen when the load of domino is low. But when I
have >10 users working simultaneously it crashes.
After talking with IBM/Lotus and with Cobalt at CeBIT in Hannover I
didn´t get any further. The Cobalt people simply stated "talk to
support, go away", IBM/Lotus say "use a certified Linux distribution:
SuSe 7.1, RedHat 7.0 or Caldera", RedHat says "we don't know what Cobalt
has done with our Distribution".
So I hope someone on the list has a solution at hand ...
My only idea is to plug a PCI-videocard in the Qube, connect a
USB-Keyboard and a SCSI-CDROM and try to install a RedHat 7.0. This
means ofcourse losing all extra functionality Cobalt has built.
So, what do you people think?
