Hi Peter,
> Will the RAQ3 accept ETRN commands?
Not out of the box, you need to make changes to the sendmail.cf file and create
a so-called mailertable. Also the version of Sendmail that is on the RaQ3 limits
ETRN use to the esmtp mailer, which - apart from when an ETRN command is
received - tries to send out the e-mail to the specified host from the
mailertable whenever a queuerun is scheduled. On a RaQ3 this is every hour. If
you do not change the warning message timers, the sender will receive a warning
after 4 hours.

Every hour and when an ETRN command is received. For up to 5 days. Then the
message will be bounced back to the sender. These timings can all be set in the
sendmail.cf file.
