Not I ... I'm waiting for someone else to be brave and report success.

Couldn't agree more ... IMHO Technical Notes should be published for each
and every update/patch.

For a 23MB update, I don't think this is a sufficient information.
Ok the Qube is an appliance and "most" owners don't want to know, don't need
to know and/or won't understand anyway, but I believe Technical Notes should
be published on what each update actually contains.
What I think is needed is along the lines of what Apple does ... take for
example the Technical Note for MacOS 9.1;
<http://devworld.apple.com/technotes/tn/tn2010.html>
Such Cobalt Technical Notes don't have to be listed on the public site for
consumption by most customers but they should be available none the less.
I think we have all experienced updates doing bad things ... the first step
in fault finding it to know or find out what has changed. The current
situation leaves it up to the end user to discover what has changed and this
is simply not good enough.
The information on what these updates contain and do has to be documented
somewhere ... it just need to be published.
Cheers, Malcolm
