I agree, it would even help the interaction between the cobalt and the
community. In other words, one person might be able to spot the problem real
quick and that would give cobalt less time to work on finding the problem
from the scratch...

For a 23MB update, I don't think this is a sufficient information.
Ok the Qube is an appliance and "most" owners don't want to know, don't need
to know and/or won't understand anyway, but I believe Technical Notes should
be published on what each update actually contains.
What I think is needed is along the lines of what Apple does ... take for
example the Technical Note for MacOS 9.1;

Such Cobalt Technical Notes don't have to be listed on the public site for
consumption by most customers but they should be available none the less.
