Hi,
I have just installed the webalizer package found at
http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/ onto a raq4. I did the intial installation about 1
month ago, the stats have been generated for about 4 days after the
installation date, and not since. I have tried manually running the
webalizer.pl from /etc/cron.daily but it still does not generate the stats.
When i manually run webalizer.pl i get ...
[root cron.daily]# ./webalizer.pl
Error: Can't open log file
/home/sites/www.aquaticsuperstore.com/logs/web.log
Warning: Truncating oversized referrer field [384]
Warning: Truncating oversized referrer field [385]
Warning: Truncating oversized referrer field [386]
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, NIck
The errors are due to an overly long URL that Webalizer truncates. These
messages
are normal, and can be disabled in the webalizer .conf file Quiet Mode.
The Cobalt package works poorly at best. The reason your stats don't show up
is
due to the log rotation scripts keeping the size of your log files in check.
I
spent countless hours trying to figure it out, I decided to save myself the
headache and had one of the people from the cobalt-user list install
Webalizer 2.0
for me which has solved all my problems.
If you want, contact me off list and I will give you the contact info.
