[cobalt-developers] Recompiling Apache on Raq3

I followed some bad advice from the users list and I probably disabled my
Raq3. Basically I what I did was:
./configure --enable-module=so --prefix=/etc/httpd/
make
make install
When I noticed all the additional directories it created I realized how much
the cobalt web directory tree differed from the default apache install.
Would anyone care to speculate how screwed I am? I haven't restarted the
server yet so the box is still up but I strongly suspect it will not
restart. I'm trying to determine the best way to restore a good apache
configuration while the server is still up.
It would be useful to know which files define the Cobalt apache setup so I
could see if they've been overwritten. I would also be interested if
somebody has done a full apache install from source on a Raq 3 and gotten it
to work.
If anyone has input that might be relevant I would appreciate the help.
Thanks,
