Hi Tim --
No, $TERM is vt100, no problem there.
Turns out there is indeed a bug in a
recent Cobalt patch. The fix is:
su
cd /usr/lib
ln -s /usr/share/terminfo .
I hope this doesn't void the warranty...
it does fix the bug.
