[cobalt-developers] !!!!Installing Macromedia's Generator 2 & Allaire's JRun3 on Linux in one step!!!!

Well its not a pkg file or exactly on step, more like 30, but its the next best thing to it.  I have
stuffed a fully up and running version of Generator 2 and JRun 3 into a single file. Uncompress,
configure JRun with Apache and vola, JRun, JSP, and of course Generator 2.  All you need is a
Generator serial number.  It comes with the Free Dev edition of JRun, and if you need  a licensed
version, just obtain a license, and input it through the Management Console, and vola, again.  JRun
is licensed and can be clustered, threaded, and cached.  This will get you as close to the
$35,000.00 Generator while still spending less than $5000.00 for Allaire's Enterprise License for
JRun.  Or just stick with the free JRun, either way you need a serial number and license for
Generator, or no go.

I have included some nasty looking install instructions located in the readme.txt file in the
following directory.
I thinks it's self explanatory that you need to download the JRun3_Gen2.tar.gz file.

your self instructions for integrating JRun 3 and Generator 2 on both Win and Linux platforms,
within a couple days.  This area will be located under the Support -> Software are of our site.

We have installed and tested this under Linux Red Hat 6.2 and 7.0.  We have also installed it on our
Cobalt RaQ4r.  No problems at all.  Everything is contained within two folders.
