if you create a php page with just the phpinfo() function you will see how
php is current configured, it should have the xml support enabled already.

Subject: [cobalt-developers] PHP4 with XML support - c/o Gordon
I was referred to this list form the Cobalt-Users (Jeff Lasman. I have
searched this list archives for any info and it doesn't seem to be covered
as it was not covered in the users list either.
I need PHP4 with XML Support for a client. I have 2 questions concerning the
re-configure of PHP4 on a RAQ.
1.)How can I get XML support for PHP4 on a RAQ4i?
Would I have to recompile PHP4, If so, what were the original PHP configure
options for the default install, How do I or where can I find that?
2.) Can I just edit the php.ini and add some Variables for XML?
I have installed libxml2 but the readme says to configure php --with-xml.
Thank You
John Cordeiro
