[cobalt-developers] NEED HELP WITH MYSQL INSTALL

Hello,
I am sitting here with our RAQ3 admin and we are confused.  We
installed the .pkg for the RAQ3 and everything went smoothly.
 As per directions on a writeup by Andrew Chen, we typed:
mysqladmin -uroot create guestbook.  We tried using \u to use
the database and it said 
"cobalt-developers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

We then tried \s and there are no databases running.

Now we went through the steps to set permissions and you still
cannot do \u to use the database.

Can anyone provide any feedback?  I get to use the services of
our admin once in a blue moon and I would love to leave here
knowing MySQL is running properly!
