What kinds of applications?  There is a pretty grave security hole in
doing this, because of the fact that passwords and authkeys get passed
around.  We had great debate as to whether we would even support the
admin interface on a non-SSL session.

Sausalito is a great way to build UI's for configuing things, but CCE is
not meant to replace mySQL or some other backend.  the UIFC toolkit is
very tightly bound to CCE, so one of the things I want to do is get a
UIFC that can live without CCE.

I am working on teh manual now, so hopefully I'll be able to see and
earmark things like this that we need to work on.  If you have more
items you want to see, feel free to post them here.  We're listening.
