Sorry I can't be much help, but have you looked up man xferlog 'cause it has
some links at the bottom as far as to where you can find FAQ and
documentations. It also says that you can locate the file anywhere so maybe
changing its location is an option.

Hello,
The following problem started 2-3 weeks back on our RaQ4. We keep getting
the follow error report ever 24 hrs.
Error reads as follows:
errors occured while rotating /var/log/xferlog
Failed to open /home/sites//logs/ftp.log: No such file or directory
error running prerotate script --
leaving old log in place
Has anyone else come across this problem with their RaQ4 and if so have they
been able to solve it. I have emailed Cobalt support but have not yet had a
reply. Any help would be appreciated.
