hi, I have been using MySQL (v.3.22.21) for more than 6 month in RAQ2.
I haven't been using for numbers much.
but today I was using for small shopping cart. and tried to upload prices in
the table.
I found out that all the integers updated ok, but floating point numbers
updated as all zeros.
I tried on telnet screen. but the result was the same.
and then I realized the max(somenumber field), sum(somenumberfiled) didn't
work.
We have the same problem on our RaQ2. From what I can gather, there is a
floating-point problem with some RaQ2's but it can be solved by installing
certain packages from the Cobalt site. I believe it has something to do
with "glibc" which needs to be updated.
I would be grateful if some kind soul could provide instructions for fixing
the floating-point problem on the RaQ2, as I fear it will require quite a
bit of installing/re-installing bits and pieces.
Thanks,
Glen
