Hello,
Somebody know how to check if the server hardware is RaQ4i ???
Two days ago, our company contract one new RaQ4i server on a very well-known
company of 'Racks Cobalt', we order the server on-line and one hour later
our debit card was charged and the server on-line. (open for everyone to
intro pass and block the engine, fortunately we was the first).
Well, hereafter of configure typical things, I telnet to server for check
the configuration and version packages, first I type 'dmesg' for enjoy
looking our wonderful and super-fast new machine (normally 450 Mhz CPU)
compared to our others RaQ3i (300 Mhz).
Surprise, incredulity, our new super-fast server run as RaQ3i (300 Mhz), I
think perhaps I'am in another of our old RaQ3i servers... quit telnet
session and enter again, same result. I look again the log for check if the
O.S. version is right. Yes! telnet header say: 'Cobalt Linux release 6.0'.
I write quickly a message to hosting company 'support' to say our new server
is not OK and attaching the log of 'dmesg' command, up to moment 'no reply'.
Any suggestion ?
R.Batalla...
