Yes, quite right, most hard drives run perfect from the manufacturer
and it is indeed bad power that we had here, either the power supply
itself or possibly bad power going to the Qube. How can we tell if we
have one of the bad type of power supplies? Our brick power adapter has
these model numbers and specs:
AC ADAPTER
ZVC40LT1207
P/N 10876 50-60 Hz 12V
REV X1 100-240V 1.2A 45W CONT.
CLASS II 7T24ITE
P.S.
Also, is it possible to put a more powerfull power supply in the Raq2's
such as upgrading to a Raq4 power supply or other type? We would like
to run 2 large drives and so far run good, though we are concerned about
how long they will run since usually large 30 Gig drives run good off
of 80-90 Watts.

Cheers,
