I'm having trouble removing a site. If I use the Mgmt Console, it says 2 of
the mail boxes are not empty and won't allow me to remove the site. I
deleted it by hand through Telnet so I cannot get back in and add the
mailboxes. I went through the knowledge base and did as they say to
manually remove a site as below:
{From Knowledge Base}
You will need to do the following to manually delete a virtual site:
1. Telnet in to the server as root.
2. Edit the following files to make sure that the site in question is
removed:
/etc/group
/etc/aliases
/etc/proftpd.conf
/etc/htgroup
/etc/passwd
3. Run the following command, and hit control-D shortly afterwards to
regenerate the list of sites:
/usr/admserv/cgi-bin/.cobalt/siteList/siteList.cgi
Your server should be set after this.
{End Knowledge Base}
Still didn't remove it. I then went into the httpd.conf file and removed
the reference to the site I want to remove. It did the trick, BUT, I now
have a site with no name and an IP address of 0 which I cannot do anything
with. In what file am I missing the reference that causes this? Any help
would be appreciated.
Thanks In Advance,
Rob Spurlock
