Do you mean POP2 or POP3? I presume POP3 as this is standard these days.

If the mailbox is indeed corrupt then you have two options:

1. TELNET/SSH into the server and su to root. Edit the mailbox file
in/home/spool/mail/<mailbox> and look for corruption at the top of the file.
It's usually obvious, but if not can be very hard to find. If you cannot
find it then you will have to do option 2.

2. Remove the mailbox file so that a new clean one is created when the next
email arrives.

We would need more information on what your proble is here. Just incase, you
can only have SSL running on one IP address for one domain, so if you need
it for other domains then they must have their own IP addresses (i.e. not
shared).

I've had this problem on one server after one of the kernel updates. You
will either have to have the server rebooted from the LCD panel, or you can
try the following for an unclean shutdown (again you will need to TELNET/SSH
onto the server and su to root):
/sbin/reboot -f
