So far I have tried the various suggestions here and none of them enable me
to use catch all. I was able to get catch all working after setting the
domain to be forwarded up as a cname. But the only way this works as a catch
all is if I specify whatevername@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx But I need to do this
without the www. as in whatevername@xxxxxxxxxxx
Also I am trying to accomplish this task across servers. I have one server
{server a} that is running as my primary name server and email server, my
second server {server b} is the one that contains the account to be
forwarded too.

While I don't mind doing that (Cobalt would blanch at my httpd.conf), my
recomendation (possibly contrary to the "developer" spirit but well in line
with the Cobalt spirit) is to use the web-based configuration manager
whenever possible.
