Re: [cobalt-developers] raq2 disk error

All current Linux systems (without a patch that may be available?) suffer from a kernel limitation that no single file can be greater than 2GB. The newer machines use a method tht bybasses this limitation by cutting the backup files into multiple files, each less than 2GB. The older machines however (Qube2 and possibly the RaQ2), don't do this, so a single backup over 2GB fails.

This may be the cause of your problem, though I haven't tested to find out what happens when it "fails". You may want to contact Cobalt tech support and see what they have to say.

The other possibility is that your user quota is too low, and while your entire machine has plenty of disk space, the user is over the limit.
