Access only runs on Windoze, and is file-based rather than client/server. You will need to use a true database like MySQL, Interbase, Postgres, etc on the RaQ. There are som really good tools for interfacing MySQL to Access that you can research, and most likely for other databases. MS-SQL Server can also be used, but requires running a seperate NT machine and using some not-completely-finished middleware like FreeTDS (http://www.freetds.org)
