Hi all!
I have mysql installed on a raq3 using the rpm's and it went in easy
enough....
If I do mysqladmin ping as root I get access denied
when I ping as admin and not the root it says mysql is alive!!
How did I manage to install mysql as admin and not as root. I can't
seem to do anything with it since I need to connect to it as root to
install the dbd drivers and such? Also how can I change this so mysql
works for the root users also? I tried removing the rpms and
reinstalling and got the same results.
Thanks for any insight you can give me on this!!
Albert
