Re: [cobalt-developers] Update PHP3.0.7 to PHP3.0.16

Here's some more info to help out. I have located the files for the 3.0.16
PHP install. When I try to install the RPM, I get the message about a
missing libgdbm.so.2 file. I tried to download the library
gdbm-1.7.3-17.src.rpm to install the libgdbm.so.2 file. When I run that, it
tells me that I'm missing ld-linux.so.2 AND libc.so.6.1. So I try to
install the glibc-2.0.7-29.src.rpm to update those 2 files. I'm running
rpm -Uvh at the prompt and it appears to install correctly as I get the
'Hash' marks (####### etc). But when I look for the files, they still are
not there and they the rpm's still tell me I'm missing them. HELP! I need
to update PHP on this Raq2 but I'm running around in circles.

Thanks in advance,
