We recently did the same with two Raq2's. Our number of virtual sites was
small and we reassigned IP numbers and DNS entries using the GUI. Prior to
moving we wanted to shorten the default ttl (one day) to an hour for all
zone records. Here's what we did to easily update all DNS records with
minimal effort. It beats editing each file individually.
As root, cd to
/usr/admserv/cgi-bin/.cobalt/dns
and find in index.cgi the value for $ttl near the top under "# Defaults for
DNS authority files." Change it to 3600 then from the cobalt GUI click
"SAVE CHANGES TO DNS SERVER" at the appropriate form. Within a few seconds
cobalt's handy little cgi updated each zone record with the new ttl.

This may not be the appropriate place to post this question but here goes.
We are moving our RaQ units to another co-location spot. We have several
hundred sites that will be receiving new IP addresses. Is there a faster,
easier way to change the existing sites to their new assignment? Has anyone
had to do this? I have seen a method in the Knowledge Base but it will be
very time consuming for this number of sites.
Thanks in advance.
