[cobalt-developers] Java: I quit!

I am having problems installing java. First Cobalt's developer pages tells me 
to download 2 files and install them (RPM's) I do and all is fine. The test 
pages dont work tho. I rebooted the server and HTTP to make sure?
There is a problem with Java on the server. The setup says that there is no 
/usr/local/java and there is none! 

I went snooping on Cobalts Webpage and found that they say to install Kaffe 
Java (http://www.transvirtual.com/kaffe-files.htm) but when i try i get:
        libjpeg.so.62 is needed by kaffe-1.0.5-6
        libungif.so.4 is needed by kaffe-1.0.5-6
        libjpeg.so.62 is needed by kaffe-1.0.6-1
        libungif.so.4 is needed by kaffe-1.0.6-1 

The pages dont say where to get these files! SO i goto yahoo and cobalt and 
all these pages, i download files install them, they dont work.....

Someone please help me :) ?
