[cobalt-developers] Perl/CGI error

I'm trying to get a perl cgi script running on my Qube2, and
things aren't adding up. I get a "The server encountered an
internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to
complete your request." error. Where should I look next?
I think the HTML page that calls the script is working - if I
change the target of the form I get a "not found" error
I think the "#!/usr/bin/perl" line at the top of the script is
correct. If I change it, I get a different error.
If I replace the script with a "Hello World" script, I get the
same error, so I don't think the error is in the script itself.
I can run perl from a ssh prompt (logged in as root), using
sendmail as in the one-liner a few days ago.
If I chmod 722 the script, I get a CGI-wrap error, chmod 755
brings me back to the "internal error /misconfiguration"
response
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Jim
