hi all
i seem to have got myself a little stuck here.
I have a directory with permissions:
drwxrwsr-x
I don't remember seeing the 's' before?
what does the 's' mean?
how could it have got there?
how do I change it to an 'x'?
what would changing it to an 'x' do?
what's the safest way to analyse this further?
I wrote an install script a few weeks ago and it worked fine. Recently,
I've noticed that directories in the /home/sites directory have these
permissions and that the setup script cannot copy files to a directory it
creates under a directory with these permissions.
is this anything to do with cgi-wrap?
any thoughts anyone?
thanks
cLive ;-)
