Thanks for your reply. But..... My logs have not generated anything since
the 8th of this month. I contacted the company that provides me the server
and they said "Cobalt is aware of this problem, and they have not found a
fix".
At this point I see the cobalt as being no different than the pre-packaged
PC's where they make you either replace their preinstalled OS with your own
or reformat the drive with their restore CD. Seems like they limit what you
can do to configure it but at the same time they don't provide enough
support on their own configurations to allow you to make the necessary
changes to the system and heck even they don't know it seems. For example
this log file situation.
The only work around I have found is to add the following section to each
users configuration in the httpd.conf file:
LogFormat "%v %h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\""
combined
LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b" common
LogFormat "%{Referer}i -> %U" referer
LogFormat "%{User-agent}i" agent
ErrorLog /home/sites/home/logs/error_log
TransferLog /home/sites/home/logs/access_log
I await youir suggestions.
Jeff
