I'm sure I just answered this today, probably on cobalt-users.
Comment out all the "Rewrite" lines in the virtual host block in
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf.
However this has the unwanted side-effect of making siteadmin and
useradmin cease to function. For me, as I've written many times before,
that's a feature not a bug; I'm happy to disable them.
If you need to keep them yet still avoid the rewrite, then I believe
someone has written (probably also in cobalt-users) how to do that as
well.
