Re: [cobalt-developers] Replacing sendmail

Jeff excuse me, I feel like critizising you a little.

You wrote about tuning sendmail:

*I* think it's perfectly fair for Cobalt
*not* to give you some numbers here.

It's their job to provide a safe system,
but your problem is in the area of tuning
an application to your customer's need.

That's not the manufactor's job, that's
*our* job, the job of a customer group.
Because we are much more closer to our
problems than they are.

*I* think you just got a little angry, because
you have suddenly been faced with problems
in an area, where you had no expertise.
Or perhaps your customer is putting pressure
on you, I don't know. But what's the problem
- nobody can know everything. Daddy Cobalt
is the last I would think about to ask - let
alone that I would press Cobalt for an answer.

It's a sendmail problem, not a Cobalt one.

Best regards
Mike
