A couple of commands will help here.  One is du.  Use du -s * to find the
space used in each dir:

cd /;du -s *

This will help you narrow the offending directories down.  Keep digging down
'til you find the space hogs.

You can also make use of the find command.  i.e. to find all files > 1000k
in size (~1 Meg):

cd /; find . -size +1000k

These should help.  I wouldn't be suprised if you didn't find the problem
files in your /proc dir.
