For backing up the entire RaQ, we don't use the web interface, as it's
not terribly efficient in terms of network or storage resource to do so.
Instead, we have installed, from RedHat's distribution, the magtape
utilities, and use a script-driven "rdump" and "rrestore" with another
Linux system housing an Exabyte 8mm stacker drive or DEC Alpha with a
TZ857 stacker drive.  Our script, then, uses a rotational incremental
backup method.

As this requires hacking around in the OS and writing custom code, as
well as an external system (none of which we have problems with) you may
not wish to do this.  But there you have it.
